1 / Sound volunteers

We need volunteers to help us set up a most immersive soundscape !It’s about moving a sound system (very light) through the audience. It is an innovative system that allows us to make the sound travel throughout the room, and to immerse the audience in a beautiful sound atmosphere by coming close to them, as to whisper in their ear.

Schedule

• Wednesday, August 21, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Patro le Prevost Community Center in Montréal
• Sunday, September 22, from 10:15 to 12:30, at the Saint-Constant Railway Museum
• Monday, September 30, from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Écomusée du fier monde in Montréal
• Tuesday October 1st, from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm at the Écomusée du fier monde in Montréal

2/ Set up and dismantle volunteers

We need one volunteer to help us set up and dismantle the for the show. We offer each volunteer a place for a performance of the Forces Motrices show.

The event

Forces Motrices , is the story of migrations. That of all the men and women that came from here, and from all over the world, to build together the railroad crisscrossing Canada from east to west.
Forces Motrices , is the story of a will to any test. The one that has crossed forests, mountains, wild canyons, rivers and swamps. The one that pierced, sanded, filled and restructured. The one that has transcended the differences to allow this disparate multitude of workers to achieve together a feat as incredible as the construction of the Trans-Canada Railway.
