The Graduate Rotational Internship is the best way for you to transition from employee to founder either with MoveMate or your next venture. We’re offering you a way to experience and contribute to all facets of a growing and scaling startup. Depending on the length of your internship, you’ll have the chance to rotate within the key departments of the company monthly.
You will get first hand experience as to how and why these different elements are crucial to the functioning of a company.
You are not only encouraged, but are required to speak up, take initiatives and make mistakes! At MoveMate, you learn by doing!

Role description

The internship will be seperated into 4 main portfolios: Administrative, Business Development, Marketing & Operations


  • Organize weekly and monthly events for the company
  • Manage bookkeeping (on Quickbooks)
  • Apply to various programs that contribute to the longevity of the company

Business development

  • Call, email and source businesses, customers and “mates” (ie. movers & drivers)
  • Contribute to improving improving sales funnel
  • Make use of our CRM


  • Work with Google analytics and Facebook Business Manager
  • Content creation: blogs & designs
  • Monitor and improve social media presence
  • Image and video design possible depending on skills and interest


  • Interview and train potential « mates » (ie. movers & drivers)
  • Develop and improve best practices
  • Customer support for « mates » and clients
  • Monitor operations scheduling

What we are looking for:

  • We are looking for highly motivated individuals that are willing to work hard and want to learn and grow exponentially. Must be a people person, flexible and able to adapt to new situations frequently.
  • Best interns will be offered full-time offers to join the team of execs and will receive stock options.

General requirements

  • University degree or currently completing one
  • Interested in the startup and venture capital space
  • B2/C1 level in English and French minimum
  • Will strongly increase your odds of being selected
  • Experience working in a startup
  • Experience in customer support or within the service industry
  • Experience in sales
  • Experience hiring and managing people
  • Design skills (photoshop, illustrator, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license
