These fast-growing sectors are constantly looking for new talent and skilled labour. Sectors with the keenest interest are the Aerospace, Visual Effects and Animation, Video Games, Deep Learning and Life Science and Health Technology. These sectors are expected to hire a large number of new employees over the upcoming years in Greater Montréal.

Emploi Québec’s online tool, Labour Market Information yields a wealth of useful information for job hunters, people making career choices or seeking to improve their job conditions. You can find data on employment opportunities and the salaries offered per sector and profession in Greater Montréal. You can even search for companies per sector and number of employees.
Furthermore, every year Jobboom publishes a Jobs of the Future ranking (in French only). It indicates, for example, that the Information Technology (IT), Health, Engineering and Administration sectors are the best-represented sectors of employment.
The Government of Canada’s Job Bank also informs you on job opportunities in the Montréal area.
