This year will mark the fourth time the International AIDS Conference is held in Canada. AIDS 2022, the 24th International AIDS Conference, will invite about 600 volunteers to take part in the AIDS 2022 volunteer programme for the in-person component of the conference at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal, from July 29 to August 2, 2022. Pre-conference meetings are set to begin on July 27.

We encourage you to take this unique opportunity to learn more about the HIV and AIDS response from world-renowned scientists.
If selected, you will be scheduled for half-day volunteer shifts and have the opportunity to attend some sessions and visit the poster area and exhibition when you are not on volunteer duty.
You will meet people with common interests, have the opportunity to make new friends and connect with a broad community of like-minded individuals.
To apply, you must:
- Be 18 or older.
- Be available on July 26, 2022 for the volunteer kick-off meeting and training.
- Be available for the conference between July 29 and August 2.
Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and priority will be given to applicants with maximum availability (particularly from July 29 to August 2). The AIDS 2022 Volunteer Programme team, therefore, encourages you to apply early and make as much time for volunteering as possible.
